Art, Film and Design workshops came together at the beautiful place of Parada (Niedamirow, PL) and started to work on ideas and projects for the main event, our big festival in June.

On friday we started slow, but on saturday everybody had a very busy day. In the evening we presented our results so far, but we don’t want to go into details here. Be curious and watch out for the Lanterna Festival coming to your country. That’s it for now. See you soon!

On the 25th April, we have met on another Lanterna action, this time in german Grosshenesdorf. The three workshops - theatre, music and journalistic - have been preparing their show for the festival in July.

We, the jornalistic group, have decided to moderate the festival. It is not an easy task, but we surely can do it :). We are going to introduce each workshop, speak about the shows and maybe do a little survey… So on the Friday evening, we have decided what to do, and on Saturday we started the action - we compiled our two magasins (one from the October 07 workshop and the other from the March 08) into one, more representative. We were choosing the articles carefuly, editing them and we were writing new ones.

The theatre group have been divided into three parts and they were thinking about “absurd” themes, and then they thought up few short scenes- with themes like war, money, love, racism and so on, and they were practicing whole Saturday.

The music workshop choose few of their older songs and they were playing them, removing mistakes and making them better.

Although the weather was really moody and the sun have been hidden behind the large grey clouds most of the time,
some of us were able to fully enjoy themselves and watter battles weren’t anything unusual. This weekend was a starting point for another period of the Lanterna project, which will be finished by the festival.
