Hello girls and boys, what´s up? This is a report from the “photoworkshop” from the 4.th September 2007. Today we started with the warming up like every day. After that we gave a “feedback” of the day before. We heard about feelings of each other and talked about the final products. We recognized that we had to work, work, work….because there was not much time left. Our special guest today was the photographer from Lanterna Futuri. So, that’s all what we want you to tell about our work in Niedamirow that day.

Am Tag der deutschen Einheit ist zu Hause in Deutschland ein Feiertag. Gearbeitet wird an diesem natürlich Tag nicht. Ganz anders bei Lanterna Futuri. Bis 2:00 Uhr in der Nacht sitzen manche noch am Computer, verbessern ihre Texte, schneiden Interviews und auch die Dolmetscher sind vollends in die Übersetzungsarbeiten eingespannt.
Der Morgen begann ganz normal und human um 8:00 Uhr mit Frühstück und „Warm ups”. Nach dem kleinere organisatorische Dinge geklärt sind, geht es an die individuelle Arbeit. Unterbrochen durch die Mittagessenglocke finden wir bei Knödel und Spinat neue Motivationen für unsere Arbeiten.Texte schreiben, korrigieren lassen, umändern… das war der Ablauf von vielen, die für unsere Zeitung „H3O” schreiben.
Diejenigen, die Material für die Radio-Sendung „Oxygenius” gesammelt haben, sitzen mit Kopfhörern vor ihrem PC-Schnittprogramm „Sound Forge 9.0″ - man könnte denken, die vielen Linien stellen ein Netz dar?!
Und die Dolmetscher und Redakteure? Die haben natürlich auch keine Ruhe, während sie Tschechisch-Polnisch oder Polnisch-Deutsch übersetzen und ständig Tipps geben, wie wer was besser machen kann…
Mit den Spaghetti am Abend war der Tag aber lange noch nicht vorbei. Die Nacht sollte kurz werden - und die Texte sollten fertig werden.
Und so kommt es, dass noch viele des Nachts mit schweren Augenlidern vor ihrem flimmernden Bildschirm sitzen, in Vorfreude auf den benötigten Schlaf.
Aber ich bin sicher, dass wir alle mit gutem Gewissen das Licht ausschalten können, denn die Ergebnisse heute sind schon sehr beachtlich.

On Wednesday we also started with warming up. The warming up game was with the use of clips and was very funny. After warming up, the film group were thinking about a storyboard for their film, and the news group were doing news in the toilet studio WC1. The montage group edited the film: ‘The hunter and the monkey’ and news material too. After lunch most of us filmed scenes for the second film which is about neanderthal people. It was very funny too. While we were filming, the montage group had to complete the news material. At 20:30 came people from other workshops from Parada. Together we watched our news, some photos from Radvanec, Grosshennesdorf and Niedamirów, and we also watched the films which our film group made.

Design:

After breakfast and warming up we met in our three groups again. We had to complete our plans and prepare them to their realizition. It needed a lot of discusions and yet more tolerance. But we resisted the pressure and finished our projects to final versions. Sometime it was easier, sometimes harder. Now are collecting our energy to transform it to the project. Now, standing infront of the end, we are excited and looking forward to tomorow.

Music:

After our favourite warming up we trained basics of music. We composed a new song and improved our first song. It was very hard, because we hadn’t got any ideas for our new song’s melody. After we composed the melody we trained hard many hours to improve this song. Now we have so fantastic song, that everyone must enjoy it. Today was very hard day. However with successful finish. Fortunately…

Theatre:

After we have repeated yesterday’s exercises, we provided new scenes to the theme “net” and we had a lot of fun. All scenes were connected to a little story which we will introduce on Friday evening. After the music-light-relaxion made by our workshop guides we had to rehearse really hard today. Problems were solved fast and we went on working. During the working periods on our own we improved our scenes from yesterday everyone could make his new experiences and enjoyed them.

FILM GROUP:

After the breakfast and warming up we had a meeting with everybody from our group. Then Katka and Mennko decided we will have a competition about our roles. So, we have three groups: montage, film and news. We worked in these groups for all day. The people of montage learned how they can do the cutting. The people of film made a film called “The monkey and the hunter” and they started working on a script of the new movie. The news team rolled news in Ziemowit and Parada. For all people it was a very very hard day. Good night!

Den heutigen Tag haben wir mit der Auswertung des gestrigen Tages begonnen. Während der Auswertung haben die Teilnehmer vor allem die lockere Atmosphäre und erfolgreiche Arbeit mit dem Computer erwähnt.

Danach haben wir die nächste Aufgabe bekommen, und zwar sollten wir uns überlegen, wie das Endergebnis unserer Zusammenarbeit aussehen und wie es präsentiert werden könnte.

Die Gruppe hat viele interessante Konzepte entwickelt und wir warten alle schon mit Spannung auf deren Präsentation. Zum Schluss des Tages gab es ein leckeres Abendessen - mmmmhhh.

ART GROUP:

Wednesday we had tried to impress our fellings in pictures , at first everyone at themeselfes- then in one big group on a poster. It looks fantastic. In the afternoon we made a shadow play. We darked the room and act in front of the beamer. We build a net and one of us was the spieder. It was a fascinating day, with many new and interisting things.

We had breakfast and the warming-up in the morning as usual. Then we went to the horse farm and to the gamekeeper. But the gamekeeper had not enough time for us so we went to him in the afternoon again. In the evening after dinner we had to think a name for our magazine and radio station up. But we weren’t successful. I hope we will be more successful tomorrow. We went to the bed at half past 11 p.m., because we finally integrated.

The sun was shining, cow’s bells were ringing and we´ve had delicious breakfast.
After breakfast there was a warming-up and everyone went to his group (foto and art). Our group stays in a barn. There we acquainted with a topic “In the net” and with a string we made a net, which we than overdrew on a big poster. After that we devised some associations on the topic and informed each other about our expectations for this week. So we created a plan of the topic.Than Beata told us about new technique called “calligraphy” and we saw a part of a movie called “Hero”.
